New York Yankees won their 27th World series the other day, but we’re gunna bring it back real quick. In the 2000 World Series, the Yankees were against their cross-town rivals, the New York Mets, for the “Subway World Series.” Prior to the 2000 World Series, the Yankees were the ‘97-’98 & ‘98-’99 MLB World Series Champions. As for the Mets, it was their first World Series appearance since their championship season of 1986. This series favored the Yankees marking a “Three-peat” for the reigning champs.
This is our Subway World Series New Era Custom fitted. It features the Subway Series patch on the side and all three hats have a Kelly Green underbill for that nostalgic feel.
